@MalkavianMadness Don't blame the engineers, they're just following orders. Blame unions and federal standards that mandate we make crappy cars....do you really think someone working for Government Motors is going to make a fuss over something like that?

@Trisket do a little poking around and it may shock you to learn imports do have troubles and break down ..see how ppl who own them got no were with the dealerships ,,if you think i am making anything up feel free to read [ the toyota you dont know] ,,i hope you are not nieve enuff to think toyota is here because they want to help the american ppl because they are such a caring company...

@Trisket anything can and will break down including your beloved toyota ..so you had a focus with troubles..that sucks..there are ppl out there that have troubles with imports ..i know you dont want to hear that , or will accept that , but its true..ask my neighbor how well he loves his honda accord with only 135k on it going on its second tranny..yet i drive by his house with my 90 grand marquis with over 300k and still going strong

@Trisket i never said it wasnt legal for them to buy back their own vehicles....do some research and you will see that it is not [ alleged] ..i love how toyota cheerleaders stand up for a scumbag company..yes scumbag ...read how they run plants in other country's and treat ppl like they are working in a nazi prison camp,.ask my mother in law who was a loyal toyota buyer how well her 08 corolla had 3 tranny issue's in 1 year and her rav 4 isnt shy to the dealership either..

I like how you try to equate Toyota allegedly "buying back bad vehicle's[sic]" (operative word being "buying", something that is legal) to them somehow being "evil". I drove a 1986 Camry from 1995 to 2006, never once broke down, everything still worked the day I sold it. The 2004 Focus I drove on the other had (keep in mind this car was only two years old and had far less mileage) had endless problems.

@elduderino19 toyota does alot of sneeky things the general public is not aware of..like buying back bad vehicle's so joe public does not find out about any troubles they have,,or doing repair work on cars that are brought in for general service [ silent recall] and the owner is not aware of this work ..toyota is by far no angel at all in the auto industry, they are just better at hiding things .toyota is a scumbag company dont believe me? just google[ the toyota you dont know] and read it

@elduderino19 never break down?..really?...i guess you are not aware of the valve springs breaking in a lexus are you?or toyota trucks having frames replaced on a 6 year old or older truck or control arms rusting in half on toyota's , or lighting issue's on the prius. or weak ball joints on toyota trucks and toyota knew all about them 10 long years before they did anything here in the states .or how one of toyota's own top lawyer quit his job cuzz he was to destroy safety documents
