@mrceebees14 I know but at that time, they were at the peak of a cup run, so it was the right move to bring in guys like that who had experience, and to do it in front of the fans, and NYC you just cant beat it.

It's more like you don't WANT the Devils to ever win another cup. Maybe you are too young to remember, or maybe you have just plain forgot, but the Devils used to have "19NEVER!" chanted at them in rival arena's, those same people constantly telling the Devils "you will never win a cup.........EVER."
Not a Devils fan, but people like you had that chant stuffed up your ass with them winning 3 times in 9 years.

Not a Devils fan, but they even have won more cups than the Rangers have in 70 years.
