  • @camrytoyota808 I'm not studying, but thank you for the poorly concealed condescension anyway. I'm actually an experienced NVQ lv.4 qualified Florist and my main line of work is with high end hotels and events.

I think this is a great video for beginners to learn basics. Floral fashions and design comes later, after technique has been learned. And nasty looking containers ARE often used for designs where the container is not going to be on display. The company OASIS stocks many such containers.

  • @missdeckchair Yes! it's a very good tutorial for those who have an out-dated taste for an old-fashion arrangement in today's modern society of design. There is NO penalization for showing a nasty looking dish because designers should not be using nor arranging in something of that sort in the first place. I did not say that knives, scissors or shears were/weren't a matter of preference, but knives are always highly SUGGESTED. Continue studying! Thank you very much for your input.

  • @camrytoyota808 Duh! It's slow so we, the viewer, can learn. And greens ARE used to cover the dish when using an ugly square-round or bowl like she is. No one wants to see a nasty looking dish and you'll be penalized for it on floristry assessments if it's left showing. Using knives, scissors or shears is a matter of preference.

  • the greens are not used to hide a specific container. greenery is used to accent the flowers and cover your oasis. you design too slow. designers get paid hourly you know! flower knives are always highly suggested that shears or scissors.

  • fake-she photoshopped it

  • I always like all your arrangements !!

  • Fake!
