They sold their souls for rock and roll

The funny thing is, if everyone who didn't vote in the 2008 election, voted for the Greenparty, they would have won.

@BrassSnacks Personally, I vote Liberal because there values are what I like.
That whole saying "Better the devil you know" & "The lesser of two evils" seems to be the other reason why I vote the way I do aswell.
I'm not saying you should vote one party or another but I'd hope that everyone who votes, votes know what the party stands on & what they CAN do VS pick a rabbit out of their hat. :/ <3
PS: GP would be my second choice.

@chewbacca1010 ... aaaaaaaaaand then the Conservatives went and killed that, my one reason for voting.

if i want to vote for a party to get something done...i'll vote green. just because it's not the norm
-
@BrassSnacks Yeah but when you vote for a specific party in this country, they get a small amount of financial support from the government, so it is worth it anyway. It isn't much (I think like a buck and a half) but still, it is something.

There is an excuse for not voting. It's called First Past the Post. Who wants to vote when your vote doesn't even get counted. That being said I do get up and vote even knowing full well my vote wont count.
Oh and for the record. I vote Green. And no not out of protest, but because I really do think they're the best party. Proportional Rep soon please.
