  • It doesn't weigh enough to break the surface tension of the water, so technically i guess it's standing on the water, not floating.

  • he actually is running his body provides surface area you can see it in the video the rivets aournd his body in the water showing hes above water level

  • how is this cruel?

its anoyying when people who know nothing comment on videos

  • @mizzooful seriously cruel? not very smart are you?

  • @darkrebel33 you know perhaps what you say is true but the main reason the lizard is able to walk on water is because of its large surface area light weight and high speeds

  • @tingyuyan12 What do you thinking I just pulled out this information out of my butt? I'm not wrong. I had whole project about this.

  • @darkrebel33 your wrong. please research a little before you give incorrect information to other people.

  • @darkrebel33 " On water, the basilisk can run at a velocity of 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) per second for approximately 4.5 meters (14.8 feet) before sinking on all fours and swimming. Flaps between their toes help support the basilisk, creating a larger surface and a pocket of air. They can also sustain themselves on all fours while "water-walking" to increase time above the surface by about 1.3 meters"

I'm pretty sure this ^ is about speed, shape and size. Not chemicals.

  • @ocdfreak

    LOL.

There is a special bacteria on his palms, it does not mix with the water. Therefore there is a Neutral effect, since there is a Positive and a Negative.

    Hope I could explain =D

  • @darkrebel33 lolwat

  • so cute
