@endMCMXCII Nothing wrong with what you said,i'm sure alot of ppl like bmw,but i'm one of the ppl that don't,as for the "sporty, has good handling and want a little bit of fun. " i would buy something else that fits those terms, something more...uncommon because the streets are littered with bmw's,if you strap a bmw badge on a car like Hyundai Accent (a pretty low cost, good car) it's value will go up by 500% just because of the badge, not saying bmw's aren't good,i just don't like them.
@TheHaos1 You have to drive it to understand why the 1-series costs more. One of the reasons why it costs so much is that it is RWD and the whole cars weight is 50% / 50% (front/rear) and that costs more to build than a FWD car.
Its just a matter what you want. If you expect from a car just to go from point A to B, to be a litlle bit roomier than you should buy a Focus or a Golf. But if you expect from a car to be sporty, has good handling and want a little bit of fun. You buy a bmw
So..what's wrong with a Focus or a Golf ?...why do i have to pay more for less room in the back and in the boot when i can pay less and get more ?...does not make any sense..sorry,just my opinion, you are just paying for the BMW badge..
@TheHaos1 we all have diferent opinions and taste. I personally like BMW but not because of the badge. I on the other hand hate Mercedes.
