Soldering deans! Doesn't get any more fun than this! The torch I used was a pen torch, don't use a big plumbers torch. :D

  • as you melt the plastic and the connector doesnt work

  • @rccarfreak1 forget about nimh packs, use lipobatteries, they're better and about your esc, it depends, if you connect 2 batteries in parallel you will get more Mah (more driving time) and if you connect it in series you will get more voltage but i dont recommend doing that if you are doing it for more power, if you want more power, get a 2 cell lipo battery

  • focus!

  • would i be able to use two 7.2v nimh battery packs for a mamba max 5700 or a EZrun brushless 9t motor?..i want to make a Y connector..will the esc handle the power?

  • Plug the other part of the connector in and it helps dissipate the heat.

  • You need to get the solder very hot, very fast, so it doesn't have time to heat up the plug.

  • will the plug wont get burn if the solder is too hot?

  • Really thanks for the video! HElpful

  • Thanks for the video!
