Get to know the girl first and then tell her your trans once you're comfortable and i'm sure she'll understand. Just be socialble. I always go for the men standing in the corner...lmao. HOW ABOUT FINDING YOUR LOCAL TRANS GROUP, OR LGBT GROUPS SOME ARE PRETTY COOL, BUT NOT ALL PEOPLE ARE ACCEPTING TOWARDS TRANS PEEPS IN THE LGBT GROUPS BUT NEVER MIND THOSE TYPES OR PEOPLE, LOOK UP STUFF ON THE NET OR YOUR FRIEND SHOULD INTRODUCE YOU TO THINGS.

Dude, finding the right relationship takes time. Nothing's wrong with you. Use your personal interests to meet someone. Do *your* thing and maybe, someone who likes what you do will become friends. Sounds like you want a meaningful thing. It takes time. Be patient. Nothing's wrong with you! Hugs.

Actually, I am going to be in SF a lot in 2012, so maybe sometime we could scope some places out while I am there (?) HATE doing that sort of thing by myself. Oh, and I am a GREAT wing-girl ... :) Just let me know. My next flight to SF will be around January 23rd.

It's not you. It is complicated, not only because of the trans thing (I am also) but even for non-trans people. Do the "meetup.com" groups, at least that will keep you busy and with people. Also make sure you keep yourself seen, go to the "cool" coffee shops and hang out, etc. I am having the same problem, but, I also realize that I need to make myself more available. I need to take my own advice and "just relax and be". I wish you luck, and wish me luck too. hehe
