W124 500E 0 - 260 km/h

W124 in der (von Porsche gebauten) 500er Version ist absolut das höchste der Gefühle, einfach traumhaft so ein Wagen. Jedesmal wenn ich so eine Maschine sehe weiss ich warum ich die ganzen heutigen Spielzeugautos einfach nur lächerlich finde...

Wenn ich mal 20K aufwärts übrig habe dann kauf ich mir auch einen 500er im TOP -Zustand von 94 und lasse ihn die nächsten 40 Jahre reifen :-)

What a monster.

My dad had one of these, a special edition, a original lorinser. The car was tuned with two twin turbo's. It was an extremely fast car with an amazing sound.

When he went on business trips to germany or switzerland he'd cruise over the autobahn with the cruisecontrol on 200kph. The handling is just superb, it feels like your driving a tank with warp drive, nothing can touch it.

The chasis is still being used today in the chrysler 300C.
