  • My French is not good enough to teply, but there is very little doubt abous Kase Sensei's fighting ability, built at a time (1940's)when there was little, if any, control of the blows.Shirai Sensei was Champion of Japan twice, and whoever saw him fight would not like to act as his sparring parner. Obviously, a demonstration is... a demonstration!

  • @david1978ist Nakayama y Kase siguieron líneas totalmente distintas.

  • Have him attacked by a real Escrimador/Arnisador. See that Karateka ends up with bloody testicles.

  • @ukflamenco I knew none of that, thank you for the response. I had simply seen a youtube demo of Nakayama, and simply made an assumption. Excellent video!

  • @witri9 Actually Kase Sensei received his sandan (1949) before Nakayama Sensei (1951) so in those terms he was at least equal if not senior to Nakayama, however due to Nakayama having trained longer he was seen as the senior

Kase only joined the JKA to become a professional teacher and it was Nishiyama Sensei who pleaded with him to join, Kase Sensei and Nakayama Sensei were never pupil-teacher. Kase Senseis teachers were Yoshitaka, Funakoshi O Sensei, Genshin Hironishi and Tadao Okuyama
