Hi,
Thanks again for comenting. I know you mean well :-)
Still think I made a good decision at that time though. I gues it's very difficult to measure ones decisions in this field. To many what ifs...

@jeroenek if you walk away unharmed... its ALWAYS the right decision

can you clarify what the issue was with the main?

Hello,
Not_fur_nuttin, but it looks like you could've fixed that easily. If there were any tension knots. I couldn't see them on the vid. You didn't even try by releasing your brakes. From what I could see. One toggle released. If you showed this to whoever you use as a mentor. I'm sure you've heard this by now. Glad you're OK.

@jeroenek have you been afraid when it happened?
-
@scurry57 there are no "line cutters" in a 3 ring system and nothing is actually cut when you "cut away". Do you Jump? If so I would go talk to your rigger and learn a little more about your gear.
I know this is a stupid question...
But what do you do with your main chute when you cutted-away?
Do you pick it up or something?

when you cut away, you try to keep an eye on the main parachute and see where it drops.
I had no trouble finding it lateron :-)
