  • So, you prefer it better?

I trust your knowledge of bikes is better than your grammar.

I have seen the clips you have rated positively, and frankly your approval is not what I need!

  • This is my tattiest of 3 650SSs

  • Nice bike. Looks like the fuel cap is off to the left of the tank, so that part anyway may be 1962'-63' vintage. Man after my heart, I have five dommies, three of which are 650cc.......

  • Nah, prefer the cafe racer look better

  • Looks good! The new tank sets it off well.

  • Lovely bike. I had one in 1968, cost 150 pounds second hand from Pride & Clarke. I think it was a 1965, mag ignition and alternator elecs. The standard mufflers sound great. I suppose the Bonnieville is the natural comparison but I reckon the 650SS is a lot better. I see yours has got the normal silver tank, mine was red for some reason but it wasn't an Atlas. Yours started pretty easy, have you got an electronic conversion in the mag? One of the carbs was a chopped Monobloc from memory.
