The original song was carried by the wind and the pollen merged with the traditions of this colombian organist to create a latin swing called Cumbia Love is Blue (El amor es triste). Five starts. @JackSofalot I have this album on both LP and CD. I BELIEVE this one is a "quadraphonic" LP, where there are 4 separate channels of sound. We had a system that was able to play that! A few of my Tulio LP's are "Quads" !

Guau... la verdad es que NO me gusta la cumbia, pero esta version de 'Love is blue' (la traduccion deberia ser 'El amor es triste', no 'azul') del maestro Paul Mauriat es simplemente fabulosa. Las joyitas que uno encuentra navegando por youtube.
