競技空手の先駆けであり、寸止め空手が主流の全日本空手道連盟で唯一の直接打撃の組手を行う錬武会の動画です。伝統派空手の技を用いた実戦的かつ武道的な試合が展開されま­す。硬式空手よりも強打の打撃のみが技ありとなります。

錬武会の全国防具付空手道選手権大会の旧名は全国空手道選手権大会であり、1954年から始まった空手界最古の全日本大会です。現在も毎年、東京武道館にて開催されていま­す。
なお、『錬武会』であり『練武会』ではありません。

JKF RENBUKAI

RENBUKAI is full-contact karate, but makes much of the traditional Karate style.RENBUKAI is a member of JKF.This video is promotion of traditional Karate skills.
The KUMITE match rule of RENBUKAI is "BOGU KARATE". "BOGU" is a meaning protective gear.It is different from KOSHIKI KARATE to regard a heavy blow as important.
