    How is that a hole in the plot? He *didn't* shoot the guy with the virus, and the future wasn't completely different. Everything played out exactly as it had "the first time," because there actually *was* no distinct first time, there was just the one time.

    You are not making any sense. If there is no virus why would anyone send him to destroy something that never existed? There are no plot holes and flaws in the movie, but rather in your head if you can't understand the simplest things.
