  • she been told that if there is no change in her vocal cords working by the time she is 2, then they will never work and they will have to operate on them. shes now 17months and theres still no change! ....she has to have a trach change once a week, it looks like there not going to start working so she'll probably have the op around 2 yrs old, but her voice will never be the same and she may always need help with her eating as she has a delayed swallowing reflex due to the vocal cord paralysis!
