I took this beautiful footage last fall and finally got time to upload it.
the water was very low at the dam so I was able to stand inside it and film this,
they were very curious as to what I was doing and look like they were on stage parading for me.
Sad to say that some of these beautiful birds will be someone's next meal, Some well known natural enemies are fox, owl, man and bald eagles

  • Great video Momma, very interesting. I really love it here in the fall when the geese fly over. : ) TheSputnik50....Jane

  • @TheSputnik50 thanks Jane.Fall is always beautiful , but it's a reminder of that dreaded cold season soon to arrive. we have been really lucky as the weather here has been very warm for this time of year and no snow yet,,,,,YAY

  • Those Geese couldn't be any louder. A predator bald eagle up on a tree and those Geese making such a racket... No doubt who was the bad guy of this vid. But nature for all it's beauty has to be tough, i guess. A nice bald eagle won't live long... Interesting Vid again. They take me away from the attic !!

  • @Toracube oh they are loud but I really enjoy watching them. That eagle sits in that tree every day. picking out his next meal. Thanks for watching.

  • Hi Dianne,

    Great video and footage.

These are a very common sight around here.

We have a pond, in our front yard and there are a pair of geese out there right now.

Just wish they traveled with a "pooper scooper" lol

Thanks for the share my dear friend.

Thumbs to you, and Happy Mother's Day to all!

  • @TunesNorth thanks for the MD wishes. lol at the pooper scooper. they do leave a mess for sure but do provide spectacular entertainment that only nature can provide

  • Hi Dianne, this is so neat and interesting. There have been a family of these nesting around a holding pont behind a strip shopping center here, and it has just been wonderful to see the babies grow. The other day, I stopped and fed them bread, and had them all flocking around me. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. Gwen

  • @moomay1949 hi hun, so sorry to hear about your loss on partnership and channel. It is not fair that someone could mess around with someone else channel like that. What has YT done to correct this from happening again.

    thanks for watching

  • Hi Dianne, I enjoyed your video alot. It was very insightful and interesting. I personally learned alot...Your Pal...The Captain
