Big Country Final Fling Glasgow Barrowlands and Live In Berlin

These two powerful concerts capture Big Country at their very best. The content on the first disc was recorded at an East Berlin Peace Concert the year before the wall came down. You could feel the yearning for freedom in the air as 150,000 East Germans came to enjoy the kind of concert us Westerners take for granted. It was this concert that gave inspiration for the bands next studio album Peace In Our Time to be released the following year. The second disc was recorded in May 2000 at the final date of the Final Fling tour in their spiritual home of Glasgows Barrowlands. They had never sounded so good and the audience as feverent as ever.
