For all those dissing the AK-47 and calling it "obsolete" because it was designed in the late 1940s: There's an old saying that "if it aint broke, don't fix it!". THAT is why the AK has changed so little over these many decades; because it is an excellent design. Both the M16A1 and M60 are flawed designs. If our boys are going to battle, I say give em the best guns that are out there! IDC who makes them.

And could go on and on, with more and more proof as to why the m16 is a high powered BB gun. The numbers don't lie, even if you lie to yourself. And if you still don't believe me which of course you wont. Then google for the info and do research. Don't get me wrong here, it's a good gun for populace use, but it should never have replaced the m14.

@prettymuchawesomeful If you know anything about battle reports, then you should know the staggering difference in troop effectiveness in WW2 compared to the ones in Vietnam. I will not divulge into much detail, but the troops in WW2 far out performed the ones in Vietnam. If it was not for the helicopter, we would have never been able to fight in that damned jungle.

Meet the 22LR, it's deadly over a mile, it's very very light, it's quiet, and it's dirt cheap to make. People even use it to bring down elephants; so it's obvious that the army should issue that next time hmmm?
