I'm not sure what you mean? They keyboard will work with a mouse too if you don't have a multitouch table.

im curious how hard this would be to be made to generate midi events, so you could control vst synthesizers with an onscreen multitouch piano.. thats really all that would be needed to make the hundreds of already existing VST synthesizers to function SOO much better on multitouch surfaces

he means what other instruments can you play., he probably hasnt seen the touchscreen sequencer, but there could be designed interfaces for guitars and drumkits too.
