  • Ok, first, the "thing" on the right side is Conky and the dock is Gnome-Do with the appearance called Docky

  • @negroidster Linux does have a much lower hit count. Even lower than the MAC OS. But don't think you're clear simply because you switch over to Linux. The bad guy is always watching.

  • I see no point in using an AV on Linux, especially on a home unit as opposed to a server. Maybe if you have a dual boot setup and you transfer files from ubuntu to windows a lot. But having a false sense of security in windows and having to update anti this and anti that was a good reason that got me to leave windows altogether for Ubuntu. That and everything in ubuntu is free which frees me from Micro$ofts bullshit.

  • I managed to install my BitDefender, but the system scan does not work because of my screen resolution on my netbook. Is there a way to bypass that?

    The only works is drag and drop.
