Ryan was killed December 7, 2002 when the car in which he was riding in as a passenger crashed. It has been a long and lonely journey living without him. Since his death, I, along with other bereaved parents, formed an organization called Mourning Parents Act, Inc. (!MPACT). We have developed a teen driving safety program that we present at high schools an elsewhere at no charge so that everyone can afford us. The message is too important. It is a very powerful program which helps to preserve the lives of teenagers, and helps us to have a purpose to continue to live after the deaths of our children. My name is Jeff. I lost my 17 year old on July 31st, 2010. He was killed in a head-on collision at 5:45am that morning. I am so soory for your loss. As you know, there is nothing I can say to make your son's passing any better. I am just here to say that I am sorry, and that I KNOW what you feel. Again, I am so sorry.

I salute you for making such an awesome remembrance - it must have been a difficult task - but by sharing your love for Ryan it will hopefully do what is intended - to touch thousands of hearts and in so doing hopefully save lives of other teens for years to come
