@BigCarrieD how presumptuous of you. as if you could put yourself in anyones shoes just by one song or passage of writing or any other way... that you could assume you could put yourself in their shoes & I don't glorify mr. oberst, I happen to know from experience that he's an asshole and kind of pitiful. (being wasted may work for pre recorded songs but... remember when everyone laughed at amy winehouse just before she died? It's like that, small doses, every night every show.
