About the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund
In 2008, Minnesota voters passed a landmark piece of legislation — the Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment — which provided funding to public television stations serving audiences in Minnesota. Its mission is to help preserve and document the treasures of culture, history, and heritage that make Minnesota special, and to increase access to the natural and cultural resources we all share.

  • I love the Veterans interviews...every story is so different. I have been stunned by interviews from people that are from all over US, not just local people. I have cried and laughed with veterans I was priveleged to interview. I was shocked when one told of being 19 and his first night in Korea was spent being shot at, lying in mud and trampled on by the enemy. He never saw one hour of action after that. Blew my mind.

  • This is a fabulous representation of the "In Their Own Words" Veteran's Museum. There is nothing like hearing real stories to help understand history. I met a woman today that said visiting ITOW was NOT depressing, it made her feel closer to her father who had been in the military and died when she was 17. She left feeling patriotic and had a better understanding about what these people had done for our country.
