Idiot. This sucks. The Gorgon of the Piers Anthony's "Xanth" series had the body of a human...just snakes for hair and a gaze that turned you to stone. She wasn't Medusa. And Piers...like myself...thinks Seether is the worst band ever and all their fans would do the world a favor by killing themselves and making Mundania a better place.

well the only reason why i put seether on there was because i had to do audioswap and that was the only song that had the same timing with my vid... it's okay if you don't like the band, i mean there are several other bands i don't lik myself you know.... people have their likes and dislikes...

"Creatures of Piers Anthony" should be creatures -CREATED- by Piers Anthony, such as the nickelpede, monster under the bed, tangle tree, etc. Sorry, nice try, but totally fails at what it claims to be.

@TheBeauty0fTruth Okay, you know what? I just went to Amazon and read the reviews for this book, and it looks like you're probably right. So, the appeal these books had for me as a kid now just creeps me out. Ick!

@TheBeauty0fTruth I don't recall reading Firefly. But if there are blatant pedophilic themes, then no, I would not enjoy that. Can you give me some page numbers, and exact quotes? I'd be happy to head to the library and see for myself. Until then, I'll just go with what I know, which is that the Xanth series was a nice escape for me when I was growing up.

@kendigjl My mom bought me book 1 of xanth and I am about to finish it, I have 2 chapters left. It is an amazing book and she asked me if she should buy me more for my birthday and I said yes! This series is awesome :D

@Holybuffalo wow it's been so long since i've heard of the nickelpedes, one of the creature i would really not want to encounter (if it were real) together with the tangle trees. So nice to find other xanth readers :D ♥
