8' radial Beaver built between Oct. 2010 and Mar. 2011. Maiden flight June 9, 2011, Calgay, AB. Super Tigre G-90 engine, Futaba PCM radio, S3003 servos, HK nav lights. Plenty tail heavy on the maiden, corrected with battery shift. 30 degree flaps deployed for 2nd and 3rd trials.

Congrats, I have been waiting for this video for awhile now. I hate the feeling of a tail heavy plane. I maidened my cub with floats, tail heavy, then it shut off at about 30 meters alt. Not a good feeling.

Just bought one of these from a club member. Beautiful looking model. I am going to put a Turnigy 63-64 280kv electric in it. It has a Super Tiger 91 2-stroke now. Hopefully put it on floats over the winter and get some videos

@eclipser2004 Just watch the COG, keep it close to the main spars and you should be good. I've found after flying this model for a while now that it need to be flown SLOW to get a scale flight response, and needs lits of rudder in the turns. Enjoy!

Watched the build, superb looking plane, but why ruin it with music, that motor sounds good enough.

@hrgft68 I guess I got carried away with the music. I actually went with Bring Me to Life because of the breaks and the timing of them, which allowed the engine to be heard. Thanks for the comment!
