Nice effort m8.
Quite a simple song to cover on the piano. I remember copying it by ear on a Yamaha piano the year after it came out.
But the best things often come simply wrapped.

Ha sure, but i'm in England right now, and people here don't even seem to know who Hendrix is anymore. Musicians here are (generally) a waste of time dealing with.

If you want to meet and jam w/ good musicians then you need to hang out a College music departments. There lots of good players that major in music that will be happy to practice or even gig with other people in their off time. It keeps them sharp for their academic work plus its fun! And it's really not a bad way to meet chicks either! LOL!
