When I see these noble veterans standing up so bravely to express their feelings and relate their experiences of the war (whether pro or con) I cannot help but feel a great sense of pride and admiration that our military are HUMAN beings, and so patriotic that it is their freedom of speech they value above all else. It makes me feel inadequate.

If we have men and women who are so concientious that they feel duty-bound to protest something they themselves took part in, then there is hope for us.

and another thing: It is obvious that this is all evolving into a third world war between israel and the US on one side and the islamic world on the other side.

Both sides are stirring the heat, one side by throwing rocks and blowing themselves up the other side with high tec weapon systems striking deadly out of the blue.

Few take action about injustices which affect people other than themselves. This is because the top priority of the many is the TV, and what is dictated on it. Concern for the plight of other people are low on the priority list, because That is where the Pentagon-controlled TV wants them to be.. By the time a TV related upset occurs, and they suddenly want to take some action, it will be too late. They will not be able to take action, because taking action is being criminalized at this moment.
