This is me and "my" horse Chelsea jumping over some small cross-rails! Be easy on me, when I took this video I hadn't jumped in a long time because Chelsea was lame and Star was being trained, so it's not great. But it was still fun!
For a little background, I have been riding since I was five years old (that makes ten years), and practice English riding, with a combination of Dressage and Hunter. I ride at a barn called Evergreen Farm, Pownal, Maine, and have been a student there for two years now. I have never shown, but plan to try my first show at training level this coming season (Spring 2011). Chelsea (in the video) is a 20 year old Dutch Warmblood. She isn't actually my horse, although I wish she was, and I love her as if she was my own. She is owned by my riding instructor, Amy, who owns the barn I ride at. I ride 2-3 times a week, and typically ride Chelsea (In Excelsis), Star (Star Splash Leaguer), or Amigo (Weed Rock In Color). Star is an American Quarter horse, a western pleasure that I and my fellow Evergreen riders have helped to convert to English. She is also an amazing jumper! And Amigo is a Thoroughbred-Appaloosa cross (with bloodlines to Secretariat), owned by my friend Caroline.

*This account will be for videos of me jumping or doing dressage, lessons, practice rides, shows, clinics, and any other horse activities. I will also post slide shows of the horses, me riding, Saddle Club meetings, and the other riders at Evergreen Farm*
