往者已矣! 如果沒有內戰, 今日該是如何景象? 歷史的功過如今計較已經太晚了; 在長春四平, 在淮海(徐州.蚌埠)的平原, 埋沒了多少中華民族好兒女? 我為兩岸的同胞欣欣向榮而慶幸, 我也為內戰犧牲的先烈悲痛! 周璇是爸媽和我最喜愛的歌星, 爸媽早已去世. 如今每聽到她的歌, 從心底感覺一陣溫暖, 尤其是凱旋歌, 總會忍不住流淚...

@mrshyushyu Just posted some sort of comment on Youtube might just answer your question. Songs like this always ignite many thoughts from audiences. I kind of like it because it shows that people don't forget the war crime done by the Japs in WW2. Same thing the Jews don't want the world to forget what Nazi did to them. Just remember Chinese will only gain respect if China grows stronger. All you have to do is wait for 20 more years; After all the so called Communist old warriors are gone.

Regarding question of compensation for losses in ww2 from Japan. You will find the best answer after watching a few gangster movies. You will probably learn fast that when gangsters negotiating on the table, only the one with power has the right to demand something. If not, you are asking for humiliation. Same thing happened to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and the list goes on. I remember when I was young I read an article by PM of Singapore demanding the same thing. He got nothing!
