  • Coir and vermiculite.

  • What kind of aeration method do you use in the troughs?

  • @Ceefa62 - We have 3/4 inch pvc supply line with 11, 6 inch medium pore airstones on black poly tubing. They are spaced every 4 feet. We started with 1 inch airstones and switched up to the 6 inch. We noticed where we had to use a couple of the 6 inch when we had run short on the 1", the plants were responding much better.

  • Just beautiful...so clean. Well done:-)

Aquaponics is now my "Way of Life". As the lyrics to the song goes " Then I saw her face, now I'm a believer. Not a trace of doubt in my mind, I'm in love (oh, yeah), I'm a believer".

How about all of you watching...why not Sign up for classes today before they all fill up. Contact Gina or Tonya at Green Acre Organics ASAP...Limited space so DO NOT MISS this great opportunity :-)

  • great set up! love it. what do you use for liner in the rafts and nursery tables?

the holes look like they are all at 4" on center. do you go to 8" ever, or does the 4 work through harvest?

  • Amazing all on fish water.. Once all the kinks are worked out and scaled up this will have a positive impact upon future food production..

  • Excellent video. You ladies are off to a great start!
