On the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg appears on "American Morning" to comment on whether or not the city feels safer today. "The people of New York City feel safe," said Bloomberg, who also called those responsible for the attacks "despicable people."
Bloomberg is also focused on crime prevention, and more importantly, bringing down the murder rate. "We have a Virginia tech every day in this country, and nobody focuses on that," the Mayor said, referring to the Virginia tech killer.
