Great podcast! Just a quick point on the Macbook battery. changing batteries is not a big deal considering it lasts 7hours and over 1000 cycles of charging, meaning you don't have to have your battery changed for 5 years. Typical users have a new laptop every 4-5 years, plus 90% of people have just one battery and never change it. Otherwise, your commentary is awesome!

They can't cover batteries under a replacement plan because the battery will die eventually. It's like a car manufacturer covering tires under their warranty. It doesn't make business sense. However, Apple techs can run a diag tool on the battery to see if a battery died prematurely and if it did, the replacement is covered under the Apple Care warranty. I still disagree with not being able to replace your own battery though!

I'm not. o_O People are comfortable with different things. I could say temperpedic beds feel uncomfortable, and others can say it feels very comfortable. If you experience carpal tunnel, then that's too bad. I don't and this mouse feels fine.

not sure if macbook has built in bluetooth? If macbook has bluetooth then you can buy magic mouse. I bought my magic mouse for more comfortable (wireless) and its cool.

I just bought a new Magic mouse 5 days ago and I work on Mac 10 hours everyday. Now the battery life of my mouse is 82% and its great!
