Susan: Every now and then I like to wear the glasses to give my eyes a rest. Sometimes they just need it. And we did eat--lots and lots and way too much lots. And with rhubarb pie...how can I resist?

Oh I love the glasses and Yay Shawn! sounds like you had a great feast on the 4th! who needs beer when you've got rhubarb pie and shortcake. lol Great for Beth. she's so thoughtful and always sending goodies. I love fireworks. I heard them but didn't see them. (alpha dog hid under the desk the entire time) lol

This spring, you made a video about "I can see clearly now". You later told us that the doc had prescribed the wrong strength of -13. But somehow, the glasses you have on this video look as thick and as strong as your "wrong" prescription. But they look cool on you -- you don't seem at all shy or conscious of them. I can't even stand my own -6.5's -- I guess I would die at -10.5 and -11.5. Ever thought of LASIK?

Ylate: Hey! The glasses are now the correct prescription. They were just a little off, but now they are ok. I'm not really shy at all about them. It might be because I've worn glasses pretty much my entire life. I have thought about LASIK, but haven't really looked into it. I have an astigmatism, but they say they can correct that without a problem. Maybe sometime down the road I'll look into it a bit more seriously.
