@BeautifulKt More likely, as with most nuts who practice self-imposed dietary restrictions, she's "tuned" her digestive system to be intolerant of fructose. Fructose malabsorption produces symptoms similar to what a lot of these guys are describing.
Agave is no worse for you than honey, and certainly no worse than table sugar. If you're diabetic, though, you probably should look into stevia. She's right about that much. Stevia is actually GOOD for diabetics, whereas agave is basically neutral.

It may be true that agave is really high in fructose, but honey is 70-80% fructose as well. hmmm.
-
you probably had blue agave not the white one
-
real agave does not taste very sweet

how can a low gi food have high doses of "sugar" in it? i mean isn't that what the glicemic index is all about?
-
@bladdan Those are veneers buddy, they grind down your teeth and put a layer of white ceramic or glass onto them. They aren't real!
-
@BigBagOfFun How do you think your doctor got so filthy rich? He got so rich by TREATING SICK PEOPLE, so why would you take his advice?
-
Oh come on, fruits have had fructose in them for millions of years, ITS FINE, we've evolved to handle it. (Check out the veneers on you girl! I think you got them a few sizes to big HAHA!)

My doctor said that agave nectar was a great alternative for sugar so, unless you are a filthy rich doctor like him, I'm gonna trust my doctor.
@valdezmiguel2
You seriously have issues that YOU need to sort out in your life, if you even have one, reading your highly negative comments on other user accounts i'd say you seriously don't have your own life priorities right.
