Cultivated in widely in the west, used more by the Igbos and eaten more in the north - more like. Think of those loaded mini pick ups on the lagos sagamu express with kola, then think of malams and their gworo. lastly think of iwa oji at every ibo gathering! It's different for anyone and no ones' opinion is nonsense my dear mikeon1

this is absolutely nonsense. cola nut is cultivated by {only}yorubas and traded by hausas and eaten by the igbos. i must correct you by adding that cola nut eating by the igbos {oji igbo} is cultivated by the igbos. and the specie of the nut do not grow in other part of Nigeria.moreover, cola nut traded and eaten in large quantity by the hausas is cultivated in large number in Niger delta area.
next time do get your facts straight before making joke of igbo people consider sacred
