Potting mix is sterile and therefore does not contain any fungi or weed seeds to hinder your plants from growing. Find out why you should use sterile potting mix in your EarthBox in this free video on gardening with an EarthBox.

  • Sterile isn't the best.. if you can find potting mixes with mycorrhizae mixed in with it you will have superb results.

  • @3timescrazy1 U Probably found out the info by now but the potting mix is somewhere around 25 dollars from off of the internet but what gets u in the shipping cost.

U can go to earthbox dot com

  • @3timescrazy1 Earthboxes cost about $50. They work well, but aren't the only option.

  • I was wondering how much the potting mix and earthbox costs, because I live in the city and there isn't really a garden I can grow vegatables in. Any info would be appreciated. thanks

  • @tagureit2002 You're right. He's a DEVIL MAN. Good thing you.....erm.....called him out tagureit2002. :-) You're the man of the hour.

  • @jagbrothers No internet in the village? lol

  • thats what he says here, to use potting mix not soil. He refers to the medium as 'soil' though, but hey its easier to say than "potting mix" every single time

  • This guy is wrong on so many levels. All of his earthbox videos tell you the wrong way to plant and earthbox. You use potting mix NOT SOIL. Of course if he had ever planted an earthbox before he'd know.

  • I think that earthbox says you should use potting mix, not soil. Potting Mix doesn't absorb the water like soil does. The mix prevents your plants roots from rotting.

  • Hi I would like to get the copies of the videos (tips to use the eartbox) as I can show this to people in the village where there is no internet.
