First of All, it was Monte Wolford who invented the Sissy Squat. Vince stated this in his books. The rep are 15 in each phase. For a total of 45. 3 sets of forty five were the standard. I know this because Monte showed them to me himself.
@JosephBK36 it means... to do 5 sets of 15 reps. 15 reps = 5reps of each movement that was shown in the video, 1st movement is the first part of the sissy squat, 2nd movement is the 2nd part of the sissy squat, and the 3rd movement is the entire squat. each for 5 reps brings us to 15 reps. do that for 5 sets.
on one of the websites it says "Sissy Squats 5x15 reps" so Im kinda confused on how many sets and reps to do. So if vince or anybody can verify me please comment soon please.
This is fantastic! I just did this in my workout and the feeling is incredible. Not only is it a great workout, but it helps your form by focusing on each phase. Thanks for posting!
