Is this why it was nicknamed The Trench Broom because it DIGS trenches, albeit very small ones?.

The grease gun is probably significantly lighter than both versions of the Thompson but it's rate of fire is what gets me? Is the rate of fire a problem or is it better for longer ranges?
-
This is probably giving the Taliban some ideas for their first body armour...:p. any results with with the 5.56? :p

Well I've seen it all now,Ted! A bullet,no many bullets stopped by a Texas root? I have seen 9mm ricochet off a car windshield before,so,huh?

What's your favorite WWII smg?

@BULLDOGHOTSHOT1 Probably the 1928 thompson. But the 'Grease Gun' was an under rated SMG.

You just had to do it didn't you? You had to take something that most people would have thought was impossible and prove the naysayers wrong, even though nobody gives a shit. We're going to be up to our arses in debate and sniping and fanatics on both sides.
I hope you're happy.
Dick.
