@dragon4249 Na, it wasn't the AI. Vesper (or whoever the player was) was controlling the characters fighting against Gouken while Gouken had recorded inputs (back throw -> jump back -> forward dash -> demon flip dive kick. The player tried to block regular, cross up and then performed a reversal DP on wake up to demonstrate how useful this set up is.

ok, I tried it in training mode and it is blockable... You need to block it as a LOW CROSSUP.

For those who stumble on this video know that there a few options to escape:

1) forward dash (although certain characters like Sakura and Guy can't in time)

2) crouch block forward since it is a type of cross up

3) focus dash (timing can be a bit tricky and you risk getting option selected)

The above technique makes it so the opponent must block in one way only. Works on Ryu, E. Ryu, Ken, Ibuki and Oni the best. Crouch works on AkumaDanSakuraGuyCodyCammyDhal­simChunJuriYunElFuerteVega. Stand yang

How about I explain this for the people who don't understand how and why this is a legitimate tactic: This setup can be blocked by holding down and forward (yes, forward), but that can be countered by using the MK flip and hitting them in the front. As for the focus dash, it's not difficult at all to react to that with a sweep or other suitable attack, and that's assuming they can time the focus perfectly anyway.

You can block this as a low crossup because dive kick can be blocked low and it'll crossup before it hits you.

Also you can autocorrect ultra.

Just Charge your focus attack just after getting up and use a dash to evade the attack .. it's that simple .. What are you guys trying to to .....
