nope.. I never measured it.. but this pipes kill low end torque big time...

it does... and it is noticeable since the 883cc models come with a different belt sprocket compared to the 1200cc models.. so it takes off real quick!! .. but the transmission belt sprocket being geared for more low RPM power delivery also forces you to ride at higher RPM at highway speeds.. if you have the money I recommend going with 1200cc.. much more power compared to 883cc... and of course.. if you want to wake up the engine you need to change the restrictive Air filter.

I can't decide between a iron 883, nightster, vulcan 900 custom. Any recommendations. This is a beutiful bike though. Only black engine I've ever seen in a bike.

Hey!.. I recommend the Nightster.. the 1200cc is noticeably more powerful than 883cc or Vulcan 900... besides.. the parts aftermarket for Sportsters is huge .. although the Nightster does not come with a black engine you can always paint it.. many many guys have done it with great results.. another option is to buy a cheap used Iron and convert it to 1200cc.. you will get all the blackness + powerful engine and probably cheaper than a new Nightster
