I have a question. COmpared to other martial artists could a sumo still whoop some ass or has the old sumo been totally lost over the hundreds of years it has been turned into a sport?

i seem to be having trouble finding good introductory info to sumo here on youtube. if only someone would maybe make a video w a hold by hold breakdown of a few matches? *cough hint! *cough hint!

There are some styles that heavily involve palm strikes to any part of the body. A big palm strike from a Sumo would hurt alot I think, and knock a guy down if not out. Thing with a palm strike is that you can put all your weight and power behind it without fear of breaking your fist etc.
