Precious! I have three of my own and they are SO my children. I really think they are the bird lover's best kept secret. They are such good pets.

aww doves are so cute they make me cry and laugh at the same time. i have 2 ring necked doves named petey and coco, they are so sweet

But other than that I'm in my room much of the day. ^^

We are going to take it to the vet if we decide keeping it or if it is not flying by tomorrow. When I came back the cat was in here looking at it and the dove was fast asleep so I don't think he or she noticed it (I named it petrey) but the cats out now and I'm going to take it out later so he can roam around in my room. I am in my room much of the day especially fridays through sundays. Mondays through thursdays this summer for another month or so I leave for about two hours a day.

thats what the rescued dove did all day today (rescued it about two hours ago from my dog -_-) I want to keep it if it is injured since u said urs now comes to u but mine will probably not be able to leave my room since I have a cat.

Mine has always been domestic, but I am sure yours will learn to trust you! I seriously recommend taking it to a vet, especially if it starts to make weird honking noises. Doves do not like cats, so yeah, keep it in your room. I'm sure it won't mind living there as long as you visit it often and provide it with a window to look out!
