Maier hat sich selbst vergrault. Wer als Bundestorwarttrainer parteiisch agiert, hat in dem Amt nix zu suchen.

goalkeeping isnt just about how far you can dive or how cool you look when you make a save. its about how you can make your job easier by understanding the game and having the right form. Some of the keepers in this video made their job easier because of their incredible footwork not because they can dive gracefully. but one thing did annoy me, from 1:21 they made the saves coming backwards not forwards. as a keeper you always want to make the save coming forward never coming towards the goal.

Very very good video: His technical abilities and leaping ability shine through. Both videos are a treat to watch, his footwork, handling techniques are exceptional. From what he lacks in height (I believe he is 1.82 M or 5 ft 11 1/2) he makes up with his the attributes I have mentioned. I could watch this all day

@drizzleJK im glad you like it! thanks for your video, this was a really powerfull save. never saw this game before. he was my favorite german keeper back than, always glad to see him playing. yeah, i wonder that most people dont understand how much fun it is to be a keeper:-)-~ cheers!!!
