That's the exact spot I hit my first IED, they probably used the same hole again. My ears are still ringing from that one, but the cuts healed.

damn, good to hear you arent tore up from it, that stretch from there to gov center was horrible. that hole got to be about 6 feet deep and 14 feet wide, funny part is that we never really figured out who was planting there. they think they were using kids to walk across with string and then they would pull it across. crazy shit man.

We and our Shadow took out several planters there from Hotel. Always thought the triggermen were at the Saddam Mosque. That's why the mineret has so many holes in it.

hell, that damn mosque was the head of allot of insurgent activity. there were allot of planters killed after you guys left, but there is always that elusive one in every block of that city.
