A rare video of the Shaolin Luo Han Pu Shen Shi Ba Shou - Luohan Protect Body 18 Hands set.
There is a slightly different version of this set, which is known as Shaolin Da Tongbi Quan.

Perhaps this is the original version?

  • @gorgealaki try 18 wuddang hands vs 18 buddha palms and 18 hatha yoga palms..Damo actually followed 18 hands of Aryans arts.. Most of them died after the British colonisation.

    youtube*com/watch?v=3xS_BzQuO0Q this is about the Hatha yoga martial art.or google yudha yoga or dharma marga martial art.. nothing can predate yoga.

  • @shobyms Thank you for the information ;)

  • Shaolin kung fu is a fresco painted during the Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) depicting light-skinned and dark-skinned monks sparring, supposedly inscribed and translated in Japanese as "Tenjiku Naranokaku," which translates as "the fighting techniques to train the body which come from India..." Elsewhere, however, the title is given in Chinese as "Quanpu Bihua," which translates as "Boxing Drills Mural."

  • The Shaolin Temple in China contains fresco murals with dark-skinned, not black, but similar in skin tone to Indians, monks teaching ostensibly Chinese monks fighting forms. On the mural that survived three fires between 1644 to 1927, it says in Chinese script "Tenjiku Naranokaku" translating as "the fighting techniques to train the body which come from India ...

    Cited in support of the Indian progeniture of Shaolin kung fu is a fresco painted.

  • @gorgealaki unhypnotize*com/health/16631-martial-arts-around-world-kalari-payattu-india.html

  • @gorgealaki --->en.wikipedia*org/wiki/Eighteen_Arhats

    It will show you the 18 origins from India and next to it Chinese nomenclature (parallelly).

  • @gorgealaki : you can not find the original 18 arhat hands in China because it is from Bodhidharma and he's a south Indian. try the "agasthya muni's deadly internal arts.

    Also try on youtube "DR A K Prakasan Gurukkal". He is the one of the veterans of the Ancient Indian tradition of Bodhidharma's martial art.Most of his clips are not in English but you can see Some tai chi skills as "starring in to the eyes and defeating the foe" without touching /knock out with out touch.

  • @gorgealaki : try Kalari's 18 adavukal. There is no youtube clips,and kalari is a dying art in South India.However,some revival efforts to Kalari,have been made these days.

  • @gorgealaki You mean the set/s ? or do you mean the 18 Arhats itself ?;) For the set or sets its not sure if the Original one was only one set, I believe for that are a lot of people looking for.

  • @shobyms What you say is highly probable. But how can I find the original 18 arhats?
