So awesome! I've been watching a ton of gliding videos on Youtube lately (hang gliding, para, sailplane, etc.) and this one is the best yet as far as demonstrating just how peaceful it seems. I've never done any type of gliding flight, but am very interested.
Is it really that quiet up there? Many videos, that don't have thumping techno soundtracks, seem to make the wind noise appear incredibly intense.

Yes it is VERY quiet and peacful. Flying Hang Gliders is a truely an amazing experience. As the pilot, you can decide what type of flying you want to do and can make this sport as relaxing or exciting as you choose. It's been called "the flyingest flying" and I agree. BTW I started flying paragliders 20 years ago. Like PGs, love HGs. Where are you located? You should go and do a tandem flight with a qualified instructor and you will really get to experience it for yourself.

@justatubeyou Actually, flying hang gliders is quieter than this video would lead you to believe, due to the camera induced noise.
