The Green Balloon Campaign is a collaborative effort to continue the sea of green, an act of peaceful protest by the people of Iran against the abhorrent violation of almost every one of their basic human rights.
There is no deed that can justify the indiscriminate beating, killing and torture of a people by its own government. Yet this is exactly what has been happening in Iran on an almost daily basis since June 12th 2009, when the surprise re-election of the incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad prompted the people to take to the streets en masse to voice their discontent and demand that the results be annulled.
This is the first of many videos to come that covered the event in several countries.

dont know what exactly made me cry. The wonderful song? The lovely video? Or thinking of the brave people in Iran who are being tortured and killed?

Thank you all for your kind words. This is just the start, and this campaign was was 36 hours from conception to execution on the 4 July 2009, and there is still Green Balloon Campaign media to come from the US, Germany and England!
We have more opportunity than ever to make a stand and affect and better the world we live on. No longer do we need to be politically important to raise our voices. We just need to raise them together. Get together. Make a stand.
