I see so many bands and artists record their performances and upload to the web with more than often, less than desirable results.
More often than not, recorded with only one camera capturing everything but the band. Sound has phasing issues when you move camera side to side and is often distorted, because the built in camera microphones are far too sensitive for the high power PA's used on the night. The sound also lacks in dynamics and has poor stereo imaging.
Lets be honest, your uploading this video to promote yourself, encouraginging a bigger audience. Right?
This is an excellent demonstration clip to give a live example on how multi-camera and multi-track audio compares with a single Camcorder - typical to what you see on the web uploads.
This clip starts with just a single camera at the back of the venue recording both audio & video and finishes with 12 Channel fully mixed sound taken straight from the desk with effects with fully edited video using three cameras.
Don't sell yourself short with a D.I.Y video on your website!
