@amitab123marwaha It sounds so much better having the sound pound your soul through large speakers with the band mere meters away from you. You feel as if you are one with the band. Mikales voice and the occasional back-up vocals are 110% what you would expect to hear.

@GeneralWarburg I find it's more a question of adaptation and compensation. To this day, I still hate growling, although I have grown a custom to opeth's growling because of the melody that surrounds it and completes it perfectly. Other bands do not have that "melody" and therefor sounds (to me) more like loud, annoying noises... but as I said: it's just a question of adaptation; eventually I will get used to it and be able to stand it.
